World Typing Language Series
English, Spanish or French Versions
Keyboard Town PALS “Learn To Type” software is now available in Spanish and French versions. The objective of the World Typing Language Series is to teach ESL students how to type on a computer keyboard in English as they hear the puppets teach in Spanish or French. Within minutes, ESL students will experience success, typing real words in English. Acquiring this important life-long skill will give ESL students an academic advantage in school and eventually in the job market.
The Spanish translation was by the Co-Chairwoman of the Modern Language Department of Carnegie Mellon University of Pittsburgh, Professor Kenya Dworkin. The voice actor, Sergi Robles, is a native Spanish speaker and graduated from the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University. To bring a smile to your face, listen to the puppets speaking fluent French. The Institute of International Art and Languages, and its owner, Christine Frechard, translated the script for French actress, Dr. Guila Clara Kessous, a Professor at Harvard University and at the Alliance Francais School in Boston. Guila taped the French version in Paris France.
