Keyboard Town PALS LITTLE HANDS CAN TYPE Readiness Program is designed to introduce pre-school age children* to basic computer keyboarding concepts . Since young children do possess gross motor skills and often are familiar with the configuration of the A B C shapes, Keyboard Town PALS builds on these skills to advance the child systematically from the abstract to the concrete; from puppets who live in houses in a “keyboard town” to the letters on the keys. Children quickly learn 7 basic keyboarding concepts and develop proper keyboarding habits. These good habits are then cemented with the Keyboard Town PALS Learn To Type typing program. The result is that very young child do learn to type, properly, on a computer keyboard.
