Educational Software Shows Astonishing Results With Special Needs Children

KEYBOARD TOWN PALS LAUNCHES NEW TYPING PROGRAM DEVELOPED TO TEACH THE 21st CENTURY CHILD TO TYPE IN ONE HOUR.

Keyboard Town PALS; LLC (KTP) has recently announced the release of its groundbreaking educational software, developed to teach children ages 7 to 12 to type on a computer keyboard in one hour. The KTP software uses successful association and memory techniques through stories told by fun and adorable live puppets. The process of learning keyboarding becomes both entertaining and rewarding. Several members of the talented production crew working with KTP were part of the Emmy-Award Winning teams behind Misters Rogers’ Neighborhood, as well as Warner Brothers’ Looney Tunes and Hanna Barbara cartoons.

The software has also been designed by the company for use by children with special needs. KTP Video Director, Melissa Martin, has an adopted daughter whose birth mother was addicted to illegal drugs. As a result, the new born baby experienced withdrawal symptoms at birth and was left with health problems such as Attention Deficit Disorder. Concentration has been difficult for her and school a challenge. Melissa was extremely pleased that her adopted daughter was so enchanted by the charm of the puppets that she was able to focus on the instruction and complete the program in an hour. She now types on the keyboard, using the proper technique.

Currently, Keyboard Town PALS is the only company that offers teaching material for typing by using the Purposeful Associative Learning System (PALS), which serves as the key technique that allows the Keyboard Town PALS software to teach typing in one hour. The child is taught keyboarding in a stress-free and relaxed atmosphere. The company claims that no parent or educator will ever want to return to the mindless drills and endless exercises used by other programs.

KTP was founded by Rita Herman; C.E.O and professional educator, and Donna Katz; President and former private school administrator (2007). Mrs. Herman has over three decades of creative teaching experience with a concentration in reading. She is an expert in PALS.

Along with working as a private school administrator in Pittsburgh, Donna Katz also holds experience as a private consultant for non-profit organizations. Mrs. Katz has been the moving force for the production of the KTP software package and its distribution to elementary schools throughout the country.

The KTP educational software is available by download or by order purchase at www.OnlyAnHour.com and www.Amazon.com. For all media inquiries, contact Daniel Ferszt at Global Point Public Relations 866.594.GPPR (4777) or email dferszt@globalpointpr.com.
